The Worthington Area YMCA runs a satellite POWER program. Started in 2015 by Health & Fitness Director Cory Greenway, the POWER program has helped over 100 kids in 3 years work towards athletic acheivment. The POWER program is developed under an umbrella of proven scientific principles through the National Strength and Conditioning Association NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) & USA Weightlifting.
Training sessions are offered individually, in pairs, small groups and teams. No matter the size, the programs are designed around your needs, goals and requests. Whether you strive to be more physically fit, healthy, team orientated or athletically enhanced, the POWER programs offer something for everyone.
High School and Above: Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings beginning at 6am ending at 7:15am
Middle School (6-8): Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings beginning at 7:30am ending at 8:45am
Bantam-Varsity Boys Hockey: Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings beginning at 9am ending at 10:15am
