Dance Camp

The Trojette Dance Team will be conducting a one week clinic for girls grade K-6th. This clinic gives girls a great opportunity to work with the high school dance team. This camp is at the YMCA and open to participants of all abilities. Participants will have the opportunity to perform at the halftime of a high school football game.

October 8th - 12th

5:30pm - 6:30pm

Flag Football

This program will have a 30 minute practice before games. Games will consist of 30 minute continuous play. Practice and games will take place at Prairie Elementary on Tuesdays; for boys and girls 2nd - 3rd Grade.

September 11th - October 16th

Itty Bitty Games & Swim

This six week program allows kids the opportunity to participate in games and swimming. This program is on Saturday mornings, for boys and girls ages 3-5.

September 8th - October 13th

Mini Kickers

This program teaches the fundamentals of soccer while having fun. This program is held on Wednesdays after school at Prairie Elementary. For Boys and Girls ages 3-5.

Nerf Football

This program is designed to give all participants the opportunity for equal playing time, a chance to learn the fundamentals of the game and most importantly, have fun! This program is held at Prairie Elementary after school on Fridays for youth in K - 1st Grade.

Lego League (FLL)

This exciting and fun robotics program will ignite enthusiasm for discovery, science and technology for kids. FLL will start in September and continue through December, depending on the competition schedule. Teams will meet between 2-4 hours per week, additional time may be required depending on the team's progress.

Sanford POWER

If you are an athlete, either in season or out, we have a program custom made for you. Develop your speed, agility, strength, coordination, and explosive power. By working with us you train smarter because you're reducing your risk for non-contact injuries while improving athletic performance. All POWER programs are developed under an umbrella of proven scientific principles supported by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Weightlifting.

Stingray Swim Team

The Stingray Swim Team is open to swimmers from the Southwest Minnesota Area who are interested in competitive swimming. The team will compete against teams from Mankato, Albert Lea, Winona, Austin, the Twin Cities and Spencer and Spirit Lake Iowa. An active YMCA Membership is required to participate. Swim Team is open to swimmers minimum of 5 years old who can swim 25 yards with Front Crawl and Back Crawl.

October 1st - February 28th

Youth Soccer

Participants will be divided up into teams each week and will have skills practice first followed by scrimmage. All participants will get equal playing time, while having fun. Teams will be divided into grade groups. Program meets on Sundays at Prairie Elementary.

September 9th - October 7th

1:00pm - 2:15pm

Youth Volleyball

Kids will practice before their games and learn the important fundamentals of volleyball. The teams will also practice once per week. Practices will be conducted by the YMCA staff and take place at the YMCA. Games will be played on Saturdays. Open to Boys and Girls grades 2nd - 6th.

September 20th - November 3rd

2nd & 3rd Grades practice Thursdays 5:00pm - 5:45pm

4th -6th Grades practice Thursdays 5:45pm -6:30pm

Games on Saturdays, beginning at 9:00am

Members: $24.00

Youth Weightlifting

The sport of Powerlifting is based on three activities; the Squat, the Bench Press and the Dead Lift. Weightlifting group members will train on these and other exercises and movements to develop full body strength. The main concern for these lifters is to learn proper technique while building strength. All participants will work with coaches and individual programs. Participants under 14 must have completed or be enrolled in the Active Teens Program prior to participating. Payment options are available, speak with Cory Greenway.
