Serving Others to Make a Difference

Volunteering is more than just sharing your time and talent, it's about the satisfaction of knowing you are helping people become stronger, giving back to your community and gaining valuable work experience that will enhance your career opportunities.

The Worthington Area YMCA would not be able to serve the entire community without the help of over 400 volunteers who help us each year. There are many opportunities to help change someone's life by volunteering at the Door County YMCA. Volunteers comprise our board of directors, serve on committees, work special events, coach sports and so much more.

Benefits of Volunteering
  • Fulfillment from making a difference in your community

  • Opportunity to learn new skills and work experiences

  • Make new friends and acquaintances

  • Belonging to an organization with a history of giving back to its community

  • Fun, Fun, Fun!
